I found that Sagittaria Subulata, Echinodorus Tenellus, Helanthium tenellum is the best carpet plant for a low tech tank without CO2 and soil. With just sand and LED lighting setup, this plant will just keep on growing. Other easy plants like Annubia, Java Fern, Java Moss, Singapore Moss all will melt in my tank after a few months probably due to the warm temperature.
Remove lots of other plants in my tank to make space for Echinodorus Tenellus / Helanthium tenellum to spread. Other excellent plant for non CO2 tank are those long hair grass in the left corner. Dwarf hair grass will grow too, but algae tend to grow on them.
